This website
The Forma2D information website is provided by Specialised Laser Systems. It contains product information, links, a small geometry preview and an interactive Forma drawing demonstration. The homepage geometry preview does not save your changes. The Try Forma drawing studio keeps a recovery copy and drawing preferences in this browser when storage is available. This demo storage is separate from signed-in Forma accounts.
We have not added advertising, visitor analytics, embedded videos, a mailing-list service or a contact form to this website. Images and scripts are served as website assets. Cloudflare provides hosting and may process routine connection information, such as IP addresses and technical request details, to deliver and protect the service.
The instant drawing demo
The demo needs no login and has no drawing-upload or account service. Imports and camera processing happen on your device. The camera only starts when you choose Start camera and permit it. Use Save project to keep a .forma file, and Help → Clear demo recovery to remove the recovery copy. Clearing site data also removes local recovery and preferences. On shared devices, another person using the same browser profile can access the demo recovery copy. The demo does not start a 30-day school account trial.
If you contact us
Email links open your own email service. If you send an enquiry, the message and the contact or school details you include are processed through the email services used to deliver and respond to it. Send only the information needed for your enquiry. Please do not include student records or passwords.
Drawings in the Forma web application
The drawing studio is a separate service with account sign-in. Drawing files, imports and camera frames stay on the device unless the user deliberately shares or saves them elsewhere. Browser recovery is stored locally and scoped to the signed-in account. This is not a cloud drawing backup: save .forma project files somewhere appropriate for your work.
The web application uses Cloudflare and Supabase for authentication and access records. Its account service processes the login and school membership details needed to provide access. Signing in does not upload your drawings. Clearing browser data may remove local recovery, and another person using the same operating-system or browser profile may be able to access local files.
